Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

Central Valley was the 2-0 winner over Broken Bow when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Saturday.

Cayle Grossart paced Central Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Grossart got some help from Annaka Wood and her 15 assists. Bentleigh Dugan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Broken Bow, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Central Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Chase County on the 6th. As for Broken Bow, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Paul on the 6th.
