Football Recap: Truckee Wolverines vs. Sports Leadership & Management Bulls

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Truckee can now relate to. They fell to the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls 34-30. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their 25-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Truckee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ivan Esparza rushed for 150 yards on only ten carries. Those 150 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Esparza. Jace Estabrook was another key player, rushing for 144 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
