With a playoff win on the line, Wewoka rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Stratford Bulldogs with a sharp 69-43 victory. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Stratford had strong showings from Carson Owens, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, and Oliver Smithwick, who went 7-for-10 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. What's more, Smithwick also posted a 70% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2023.

Wewoka's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Stratford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Wewoka nor Stratford have any future games scheduled.
