Game recap: Acadiana HomeSchool High School Football Team takes down New Orleans HomeSchool Saints

LAFAYETTE, La. - CJ Melancon ran for two touchdowns and Cooper Fruge added three as well as Acadiana HomeSchool (Lafayette, La.) beat New Orleans HomeSchool Saints (New Orleans, La.) 60-0 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Russel Broussard in the first quarter, the Commandos led 35-0 at the half.

Acadiana HomeSchool expanded its lead to 53 points entering the fourth quarter. AH scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Fruge.

A 22-point first quarter set the table for the Lafayette school, which coasted the rest of the way for the victory.

The Commandos had given up an average of 8.4 points prior to the contest.



The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Saints took, 39-0.

With the win Acadiana HomeSchool extended its winning streak to four games.
