Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). They blew past the Skyline Falcons 72-39 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Fairview to victory were Spencer Brown and Trevor Ochs. Brown went 10-for-19 on his way to 25 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals, while Ochs went 7-for-8 from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. Brown continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Sawyer Dever was another key player, putting up four points and six boards.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamal Gilliam, who went 7-for-12 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jd Wright, who posted nine points and five boards.
Fairview pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Skyline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Fairview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-60 defeat against Monarch on the 13th. As for Skyline, they have also already played their next game, a 64-48 loss against Holy Family on the 14th.
