University Christian extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Fernanda Soto. The Barracudas put the hurt on the Millers Creek Christian Lions with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Soto, who had nine digs and eight aces. Soto is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 20 every time she's taken the court this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant University Christian was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-11.

University Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Millers Creek Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. University Christian will challenge The Burlington School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millers Creek Christian, they will welcome Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
