Basketball Recap: Simpson Comes Up Short

Simpson lost to Merryville back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Broncos fell 60-48 to the Panthers.

Simpson dropped their record down to 21-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Merryville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-15-2.

Looking ahead, Simpson will head out to face off against Glenmora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Merryville has already played their next game (against Vinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
