Volleyball Recap: Campbell Takes a Loss

Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Ridge Blue Jays.

Leading Oak Ridge to victory were Kenadie Ward and Zoey Lohmann. Ward had six digs and four aces, while Lohmann had. Ward has been hot for a while, having also posted 16 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oak Ridge, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Campbell and Oak Ridge will both be playing Owensville the next time they take the court. The Blue Jays will head out to face the Dutchmen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Camels will head out to face them at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday.
