Soccer Game Preview: Eastern vs. Taylor

The Eastern Comets will face off against the Taylor Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Eastern, who comes in off a win.

Eastern took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Wabash, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Comets won by a goal and slipped past the Apaches 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Eastern were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Wabash, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Taylor struggled afterwards.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1.
