Baseball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Midland Classical Academy lost against Pecos back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Midland Classical Academy Knights fell just short of the Pecos Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Henry Friez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Coy Nicholas, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Midland Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pecos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Midland Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 defeat against Horizon on the 27th. As for Pecos, they will square off against Mountain View at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
