Baseball Preview: Cape Elizabeth Capers vs. York Wildcats
Cape Elizabeth and York are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cape Elizabeth Capers will be playing in front of their home fans against the York Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Cape Elizabeth took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Mt. Ararat a 1-0 shutout. Despite the win, that was the fewest runs Cape Elizabeth has scored all year.
