Soccer Recap: Flatirons Academy Comes Up Short

Flatirons Academy managed to slip by Forge Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bison lost 6-1 to the Fury on Friday. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Flatirons Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Charlotte Barron, who's now up to 13 this season.

Flatirons Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2. As for Forge Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Flatirons Academy and Forge Christian will both be playing Bishop Machebeuf the next time they take the pitch. The Bison will host the Buffaloes at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Fury will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
