Carroll suffered their closest loss since February 17, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Bishop Badgers by a score of 4-2. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Kaeleigh Mendez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carroll fell to 10-1. As for Bishop, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
