Baseball Recap: Lake County Comes Up Short

Lake County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Union City Golden Tornadoes, falling 22-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Tornadoes this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-1 loss back in March.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-23-1. As for Union City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Lake County has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 loss against Gleason on the 30th. As for Union City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Greenfield on the 30th.
