It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cassadaga Valley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 68-35 win over the Chautauqua Lake Eagles. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Cassadaga Valley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-4. As for Chautauqua Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Coming up, Cassadaga Valley will head out on the road to take on Frewsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cassadaga Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Chautauqua Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
