Softball Recap: Glide Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oakland on Tuesday, Glide came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 17-3 to the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers on Saturday.

Glide saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Halle Goodman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Glide's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Yamhill-Carlton, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Glide is taking a road trip to face off against Scio at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against North Valley at 2:30 p.m.
