It's playoff time, and Salem had no trouble coming through when it counted. They didn't even let the West Bolivar Eagles on the board on Saturday, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 17-0 shutout. Salem is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.
