Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Placer Hillmen
The Antelope Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Placer Hillmen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Wednesday, everything came up roses for Antelope on the road against Rosemont as the squad secured a 84-39 win. Given Antelope's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Rosemont is ranked 679th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Antelope can attribute much of their success to Daunte Martin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Artem Rudko, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Placer put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 63-57 win over Weed.
Franklin's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Antelope's defeat dropped theirs to 1-1.
