Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Coast Has No Trouble Against Englewood

Atlantic Coast won the last time they faced Englewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Stingrays put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-7.

Despite the loss, Englewood had strong showings from Phoenix Kimura, who had 18 digs, and Ana Torres, who had 11 digs. Kimura is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Atlantic Coast's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Englewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Atlantic Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Englewood, they will take on Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
