Basketball Recap: Eagle Rock Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Eagle Rock put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sylmar Spartans, sneaking past 62-60. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Sylmar saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aiden Garcia posted 16 points along with six boards and five assists. Andrew Galvez was another key player, putting up 16 points and six rebounds.

Eagle Rock's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sylmar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Eagle Rock will be taking part in a tournament against North at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sylmar, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brentwood School at 6:45 p.m. on December 1.
