Southeast Guilford is a perfect 9-0 against Western Guilford since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Western Guilford's offense. They lost 12-0 to Page on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost eight in a row.

Southeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Western Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Southeast Guilford took their win against Western Guilford when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 23-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeast Guilford since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
