It was fun while it lasted, but Redmond's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Monday. They fell just short of the Bothell Cougars by a score of 50-48. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Redmond lost, don't look at Iha Kasam. Despite the final result, she went 8 of 18 en route to 20 points and six steals. Kasam has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie West, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

It was another big night for Charlotte Lipkin, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 boards for Bothell. The dominant performance gave Lipkin a new career-high in rebounds. Bailey Petrin also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Redmond fell to 10-1. As for Bothell, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Redmond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-54 victory against Issaquah on the 8th. As for Bothell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-53 win against Eastlake on the 8th.
