Basketball Recap: Madison Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Oakwood Academy on Monday, Madison Academy came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay-Chalkville Cougars on Thursday.

Madison Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Clay-Chalkville, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Madison Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Clay-Chalkville, they will square off against Mountain Brook at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
