Volleyball Recap: Discovery Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vanguard last Thursday, Discovery came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Explorers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Discovery took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 30-28.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Discovery wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mulberry on the 9th. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Lakeland Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
