After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rice Memorial, Champlain Valley Union was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 73-53 margin over the Brattleboro Bears. The Redhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Brattleboro still got an impressive performance from Jack Cady, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Korson, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points.

Champlain Valley Union's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Brattleboro, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Champlain Valley Union will face off against South Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brattleboro, they will square off against Mount Anthony at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
