Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Pasadena

The Burbank Bulldogs will challenge the Pasadena Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Burbank comes in on three and Pasadena on ten.

Burbank's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed back in December of 2024. They blew past La Canada 3-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Spartans are ranked 446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davit Tadevosyan and Ashot Grigoryan scored all three of Burbank's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Pasadena won against La Serna last Friday with five goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. Pasadena put the hurt on California with a sharp 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Burbank is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those seven contests. As for Pasadena, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
