Volleyball Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kerman Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Selma was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-8.

Selma's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Kerman, they pushed their record up to 22-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Selma will face off against Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kerman, they will take on Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
