 Southeast Guilford had to endure  a  six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Western Guilford Hornets out  3-2. Southeast Guilford's winning goal came courtesy of  Cassie Winslow.
 Something new happened  on Tuesday as  Winslow saw her first action of the season, playing 90 minutes against Western Guilford. Winslow made the most of the opportunity,  scoring two goals and  an  assist. A few more games like that and  she might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Southeast Guilford's victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-13. As for Western Guilford, their defeat was  their eighth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-14-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Guilford will take on Northwest Guilford at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Northwest Guilford's favor is that they have posted big  goal totals  in their last three contests. As for Western Guilford, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Northern Guilford at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
