John Paul II is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Thomas Heyward Academy with a sharp 47-21 win on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Warrriors as they're now sitting on three straight.
John Paul II relied on the efforts of Alan Wolf, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Jadon Inabinett, who rushed for 140 yards and two scores on only seven carries. Inabinett really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Ethan Osterling was in the mix too, providing John Paul II with one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: John Paul II was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hilton Head Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 3rd. They breezed past First Baptist School to the tune of 33-6 last Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's win came from a few key players John Paul II will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kres Langhals, who threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 61 yards and one score. What's more, he racked up 114.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Joseph Houpt was Langhals' top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB seven times. In that department, Hayne Burden was the leader with two sacks. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 16.
