Soccer Game Preview: Brenham vs. Montgomery

Brenham is 0-6 against Montgomery since February of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cubs will head out to take on the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Brenham is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against College Station on Tuesday. The Cubs and the Cougars finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Montgomery didn't have quite enough to beat College Station on Thursday and fell 2-1.

The Bears' goal came courtesy of Valentina Barnett, who's now up to five this season.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-3. Brenham's draw gives them a new season record of 8-0-1.

Brenham suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Montgomery when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Cubs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
