Basketball Game Preview: South Broward Bulldogs vs. Boyd Anderson Cobras

The South Broward Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Boyd Anderson Cobras at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Monday, South Broward came up short against Coral Springs and fell 51-43. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Colts 14-10 in the first quarter.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bianca Torres, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayonna Lewis, who had 11 points.

Even though they lost, South Broward was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coral Springs only posted two assists.

Meanwhile, Boyd Anderson took a blow against South Plantation on Monday, falling 59-26. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Broward's record now sits at 10-9. As for Boyd Anderson, their record now sits at 1-8.

Everything came up roses for South Broward against Boyd Anderson when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 62-20 win. In that matchup, South Broward amassed a halftime lead of 37-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
