Basketball Recap: Coleville Comes Up Short

Coleville lost against Mineral County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coleville Wolves were beaten by the Mineral County Serpents 74-35. The Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Leading Mineral County to victory were Jaeden Majano and Peyton Baldry. Majano almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, while Baldry posted 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Stinson, who had four points and three steals.

Coleville's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Mineral County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Coleville has already played their next game, a 71-26 defeat against Sage Ridge on the 25th. As for Mineral County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-13 victory against Whittell on the 25th.
