Basketball Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

St. Edward has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 53-44 to the IC Catholic Prep Knights on Tuesday. The Green Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for IC Catholic Prep, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.

When St. Edward and IC Catholic Prep next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. Edward will try to stop Byron's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, IC Catholic Prep will face off against Latin and their four-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
