Softball Game Preview: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Willow Spring Storm

Southeast Raleigh is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Willow Spring a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Willow Spring Storm at 4:00 p.m. Southeast Raleigh has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Cleveland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Rams, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Willow Spring came up short against Clayton on Wednesday and fell 6-1. The match marked the Storm's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Willow Spring saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Howard, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Willow Spring's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Southeast Raleigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
