It's playoff time, and Davenport had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Somerset Bulldogs 15-2 on Friday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by seven runs or more this season.
Harper Mcquade looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, KINLEY Keller was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 2-for-4. Kaylie Ramos was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
Davenport's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Somerset, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.
As of now, neither Davenport nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
