Basketball Recap: Deshler Skates Past Hatton with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Florence, Deshler was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 77-33 victory over the Hatton Hornets. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Hornets are ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Deshler has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Hatton, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Deshler has already played their next game (against Wilson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hatton will take on Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Decatur Heritage Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
