There's no place like home for Corunna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clio Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Corunna walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25, 25-12, 26-24.

Gracie Termeer paced Corunna's offense, picking up 14 kills. Termeer got some help from Mackenzie Lecureaux and her 16 assists. Lecureaux also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rachel Steinacker, racking up three apiece.

Corunna's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Clio, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corunna is set to square off against their familiar foe Brandon at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clio will challenge rival Owosso at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
