Softball Recap: Pickerington Central Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pickerington Central lost against Teays Valley on April 14th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Vikings, falling 20-4.

Pickerington Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Robinson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Another was Camree Cunningham, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Pickerington Central's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8-1. As for Teays Valley, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Coming up, Pickerington Central is taking a road trip to square off against Reynoldsburg at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Teays Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Logan at 5:15 p.m. The Chieftains have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.63 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
