            Corry never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Northwestern Wildcats with a sharp  7-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

 Karson Chamberlin was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those  14  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  earning two  runs and one  stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Corry's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-7 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kamdyn Moon, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base. He has become a key player for Corry: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 3-8 otherwise.  Wesley Kurelowech was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
