Baseball Recap: Cabrillo Find Success

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Cabrillo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the St. Francis Sharks 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Conquistadores.

Cabrillo got a great performance from Jacob Low as he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Low has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Blake Gregory, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
