Softball Recap: Keokuk Comes Up Short

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-3 to the Washington Demons. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 14-2 to the Demons when the teams met back in July of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Keokuk's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Washington beat Keokuk by a score of 17-0 later that day.
