Softball Recap: Northwest Vikings vs. Blair Bears
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwest can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the Blair Bears on Thursday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Jolie O'Hara was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 30-4. As for Blair, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.
Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blair, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hastings will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Blair surely won't give up without a fight.
