Soccer Recap: Archbishop Riordan Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Archbishop Riordan's offense. They fell just short of the Fremont Firebirds by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Fremont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Archbishop Riordan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Archbishop Mitty at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Fremont, they will take on Gunn in a tournament on Saturday. Gunn's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
