Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chimacum). They were the clear victors by a 23-12 margin over the Vashon Island Pirates on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cowboys needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Chimacum's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Vashon Island, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Chimacum will take on Klahowya at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Vashon Island, they will challenge Cascade Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
