Baseball Recap: Liberty Common Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Liberty Common extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 8-5. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Strasburg Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bryson Weibler was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Liberty Common is 7-2 when Weibler posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Lucas Wagner, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Liberty Common was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2025.

As for Strasburg, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 2.75 runs.

On Strasburg's side, Coltrane Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one double. Reagan Rosier was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
