Softball Recap: King's Fork Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for King's Fork's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Hickory Hawks on Thursday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

King's Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Hickory, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Coming up, King's Fork will be playing at home against Norview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hickory, they will head out on the road to challenge Great Bridge at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 0.8, the Wildcats 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
