Volleyball Game Preview: Orange Glen Patriots vs. Montgomery Aztecs

The Orange Glen Patriots will venture away from home to take on the Montgomery Aztecs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orange Glen is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Orange Glen came up short against Maranatha Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Orange Glen took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Montgomery came up short against Sweetwater on Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Aztecs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Red Devils 25-21 in the first set.

Montgomery started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Orange Glen couldn't quite get it done against Montgomery in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
