San Juan suffered their biggest defeat since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 71-40 loss at the hands of the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Broncos' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

With the defeat, San Juan broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. As for Montezuma-Cortez, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
