Softball Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mater Academy East Las Vegas's offense. They came up short against the Clark Chargers on Thursday, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Clark, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7-1.

Looking ahead, Mater Academy East Las Vegas will challenge Sports Leadership & Management at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulls will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Clark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
