Baseball Recap: South River Takes a Loss

South River managed to slip by Arundel the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Seahawks lost 11-1 to the Wildcats on Thursday. The Seahawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

South River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Kunst, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

South River's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Arundel, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

South River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arundel, they will head out on the road to take on Decatur at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
